    It’s very rare for anyone to actually be half and half. Henry Louis Gates and Barack Obama are actually 50/50.
    Also Brittini, it’s important to distinguish the black ethnicity you’re referring to. The majority of black “Americans” although this is not true as it’s actually the average black American is 20% white. about 40% of black Americans are still less than 20% white. Most black Americans still don’t have the equivalent of one white grandparents and of course there are mixed race people who are mostly white being counted as African Americans that brings that percentage up.
