Happy Thanksgiving from The Mixed Mama and Her Multiracial Family

How-To : Yarn Braids - UMA Descendants 2 by Mixed Family Life for Multiracial Media _ completed braids

I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving surrounded by friends and family!

Also, while I know that some look forward to Thanksgiving for the shopping that follows on “Black Friday,”  I would rather take a moment here to just say how thankful I am for my husband and my kids. My kids have inspired me to go after a life long dream of becoming a published author. My book “Ibari’s Curls” is now available for Pre-Order on Amazon.    And, if you are looking for a terrific gift for this holiday season, I hope you will consider it as a unique gift idea for the curly kid in your life.

I am so very thankful for your readership.  Writing about Multiracial family life and caring for the hair of Multiracial kids is a very personal, passion of mine based on my own family’s experiences.  Being able to share that with others and hopefully helping others is so very rewarding.  And, I am grateful to have that opportunity.  So, thank you so very much.

In addition, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and of giving thanks, I would love if you shared with me what you are thankful for this year.

In the meantime, thanks again for reading.
